Bruce Nauman

This is some work created by Bruce Nauman. His neon signs were often advestisments of another kind. They were always bright, flashing or moving in some way, and often included dry humor and word play. They can either make you laugh or evoke many different feelings based on the message he's trying to portray. I love work with neon lights or moving words, because they're beautiful and attractive to the eye but always has a message that you can read and contemplate. I also am fond of his sculpture, art involving the human body is almost always really cool and stimulating to look at in my opinion. The circle of hands, connecting by them holding each other reminds me of a really creepy baby mobile and the floating heads are one of my favorite pieces by him.
